Sorry for delays on many parts about downloads, website "coming soon"'s etc. Hopefully we can bring someone in, dedicated to build systems, another one for the website/wiki and so on. Thanks for the patience!
(and yes, like paranoidray says, every little bit that the community helps out with frees up our time to bring the community new features/fixes instead)

By way of explanation... Most of the delay has been due to an extra time-sensitive space project that hit us last month and this month. It's been all we could do to make sure the Android contest went out on time. I am contemplating pushing off a few projects to get things here back on track, so thanks for being patient.

I'm rather glad that you are swamped with projects. It's important that Ardor3d have financial backing to prevent it from dying off

I have seen that we have got a download section which is really great. The problem from my view is that a beginner cannot find the link so easy. What do you think about to have an additional entry under "GET STARTED" just called "Downloads" ?

I agree, that's usually the first thing I look for on new open source projects. Btw, we appreciate all feedback we can get to improve the site!
