i've been contemplating whether to open source it, make it into a box-style game api for people to use, or to proceed in making the game i planned.

Hum thats very disturbing cause fate has made me the main coordinator of a concurrent XNA opesource implementation, If you opensource it I ll have LOTS of work cause I will end up merging all interesting code in the two directions , xna-> Ardor and Ardor->xna !

I think we are going for a free for non-commercial use blockworld engine to start with. I'm teaming up with at least one more guy to get this going. What we will definitely need is people/teams that are willing to do some test projects alongside the development of the engine.
